The fitted dress with a seam just above the natural waist. The fit of the upper part of the front is created with the princess seams. There are waist darts on the back of the bodice. The bodice has a button placket. The neckline is rounded, finished with a facing. The skirt is slightly flared at the bottom with six box pleats at the front and back. The pleats are stitched at the top. The number of pleats can be increased by 2 times with a decrease in their depth also by 2 times. There is an invisible zipper in the side seam. The dress is complemented by a removable belt.

For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose materials of the dress group with the following properties: non-stretch or low-stretch, light or medium density, opaque or semi-sheer. Batiste, linen, semi-linen, cotton, nettle, dress wool are well suited.

The dress in the photo by Elenapatternstudio is made of 100% cotton, density 120 g/m2. Batiste is used as a companion fabric, composition: 70% tencel, 30% cotton; density 60 g/m2.

  • Buttons with a diameter of 12 mm – 3 pcs
  • Threads to match the fabric – 5 spools for a sewing machine and overlocker
