Pattern of a jacket made of double splittable wool fabric with a straight silhouette without side seams. The back has a middle seam. There are patch pockets on the front of the jacket. Set-in two-seam sleeves have a curved hem. The collar is a stand-up collar, fastened with a button. The jacket has a center front button and buttonhole fastening. The detachable hood has two buttons fastener at the front.
This jacket is made using the technology of splitting edges and then tucking them inside, between the layers manually.

To sew this model, it is recommended to choose two-layer splittable materials of the coat group. The material should be moderately dense, flexible and soft.
According to the fibrous composition, the material can contain natural (wool, cashmere) or mixed fibers.
The jacket in the Elenapatternstudio photo is made of two-color, two-layer coat wool fabric, weight is 900 g/m2, composition: 80% wool, 20% PE. The fabric has a directional pile up to 3 mm long.

- Calico with a fabric weight of at least 140 g/m or waffle fabric for the mockup. I used waffle fabric with a fabric weight of 230 g/m
- Stitched straight-grain fusible stay tape, 15 mm wide ~ 1 m
- Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 15 mm wide ~ 3-5 m
- Buttons with a diameter of 25 mm – 6 pcs. for jackets, 2 pcs. for the hood (+ 2-3 spare pieces)
- Threads to match the fabric
