For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose a knit fabric of medium or moderate density. Regarding fiber composition, it is desirable to choose a material containing natural fibers (wool, cotton). Resilient, non-sagging, and opaque knitwear, French terry, or jersey will work well.

The hoodie in the Elenapatternstudio photo is made from 3-thread loopback French terry, composition: 65% cotton, 35% polyester, weight 320 g/m².

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Cotton or poplin for finishing the cord holes – two squares with a side of 4.5 cm.
  • Knit piping 10-11 mm wide with a 2 mm thick cord ~ 12 – 14 m.

  • Threads to match the fabric for the overlocker and the sewing machine.
  • Knit needles for the sewing machine and overlocker No. 80-90, and for basting
