The vest has also a shaped bottom: the front part is slightly longer than the back.

For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose moderately dense materials, non-stretchable or slightly stretchable. Materials containing natural fibers (wool, cotton, linen) are preferable. Suit fabrics, tweed, denim, corduroy, linen are well suited. Materials containing viscose are recommended for lining.

  • Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement, 1.5 cm wide ~ 2.5 m
  • Buttons with a diameter of 20 – 22 mm 2 – 4 pcs. depending on the selected fastening option (+ 2-3 spare pcs.)
  • Transparent button, diameter 10-12 mm – 1-3 pcs. (+2-3 spare)
  • Threads to match the fabric
  • Sewing machine needles #80 – 90 and for basting

 

NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlocker (if the fabric is loose and/or the edges fray)
  • Press with steam function
