This moderately voluminous jacket pattern features a slightly tapered silhouette. The front and back panels feature yokes, with small chest and shoulder darts in the yoke seams. The shoulder seams are shifted toward the front. On the left front piece, there is a decorative flap, and on the wrong side, an inner chest pocket is placed. The shoulder line is slightly dropped. The collar is a stand collar. The sleeves are two-piece sleeves. A pleat is sewn along the sleeve hem, and a slit is finished at the elbow seam. The sleeve hem is finished with a set‑in cuff fastened with one button / snap. The jacket hem is finished with a set‑in waistband. The center front closure features buttons / snaps with attached plackets. The garment is unlined. The jacket length is above the hip line. All seams are topstitched with double decorative rows of stitching.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose moderately dense, non-stretch or low-stretch materials. Denim, cotton, corduroy, and suit linen are well suited.
The jacket in the Elenapatternstudio photo is made of denim with a density of 420 g/m², composition: 100% cotton. A thin poplin was used to make the inner pocket bag.
YOU WILL NEED:
- Main fabric, taking into account a 10% allowance for possible shrinkage, m:
Width 140 cm
- Lining fabric (thin cotton or poplin is recommended) for the inner pocket bag ~ a strip of 50 cm in length and 25 cm in width.
- Interfacing with a density of 35-40 g/m² ~ 0.8 m with a width of 140 cm.
- Buttons / snaps / sew-on snaps with a diameter of 20 – 22 mm – 8 pcs.
- Topstitch threads – 90 – 120 m (3 – 4 spools of 30 m each).
- Matching thread – 5 spools (4 – for the overlocker, 1 – for the sewing machine).
- Denim needles for the sewing machine and overlocker No. 100. These same needles can be used for topstitching.
- Topstitch needle No. 100, if you are not using denim needles.
NECESSARY EQUIPMENT:
- Sewing machine.
- Overlocker (if the fabric is loose and/or the edges fray).
- Iron with steam function.
- Pressing table or ironing board.
- Special sewing machine foot for making buttonholes.
