This is a pattern for a jacket/trench with raglan sleeves, moderate volume, and a straight silhouette. The front panels feature princess seams with bust darts and welt pockets with topstitched welts. The back has a yoke with a free lower edge, finished with lining. The raglan sleeves have shoulder seams, a cut detail, and epaulets. Below the cut, the sleeve is one-piece. The collar is a turn-down collar on a separate stand. On the stand there is a detachable tab fastened with 2 buttons. The garment has a double-breasted closure with buttons. The jacket is fully lined. The length is below the hip line. The bottom edge is shaped with a slight reduction in length at the sides. The jacket is completed with a detachable belt with a buckle and eyelets, threaded through belt loops. Two rows of topstitching are sewn along the epaulets, belt, tab, and seams of the garment.
The jacket can also be sewn with two-piece raglan sleeves without the cut detail. The pattern pieces for both options are included in the pattern files. The sewing instructions describe both variations.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose moderately dense, non-stretch materials of the rain-coat fabric group. Materials may have water-repellent and/or windproof properties. In terms of fiber composition, the material may contain natural (cotton) or blended fibers. Rain-coat gabardine is a good choice. For the lining, materials with viscose content are recommended.
The jacket in the Elenapatternstudio photo is made of rain-coat gabardine, composition: 45% cotton, 55% polyester; density 200 g/m2. Lining – 67% viscose, 30% polyamide, 3% elastane, density 80 g/m2.

- Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement 12-15 mm wide ~ 4 m
- Buttons with a diameter of 15 mm for the stand tab – 2 pcs.
- Buttons with a diameter of 23 mm for the epaulets – 2 pcs.
- Buttons with a diameter of 25 mm for the fastening – 5 pcs.
- Transparent button (sub-button) – 5 pcs.
- Buckle with a tongue for the belt with an inner size of 5 cm.
