This is a pattern for voluminous, O‑shape pants that taper toward the hem. The side seams feature inset pockets. The waistband is attached and has a casing with three rows of elastic. The pants are ankle length.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

For sewing this model, it is recommended to choose soft, non-stretch or low-stretch materials. Linen, cotton, nettle fabric, cupro, thin suede work well.

The chocolate-colored Elenapatternstudio pants are made of 100% linen with a density of 190 g/m², the lemon-colored ones are made of 100% cupro with a density of 110 g/m².

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Main fabric, taking into account a 10% allowance for possible shrinkage, m:

Width 140 cm

  • Straight-grain fusible stay tape, 15 mm wide ~ 1 m
  • Elastic tape (elastic) 10 mm wide ~ 3 m.
  • Threads to match the fabric – 5 spools (4 for the overlocker, 1 for the sewing machine)
  • Universal needle for sewing machine and overlocker No. 70-90.
